Breaking The News About the Alabama Social Media Association (TV)

I've done a lot of TV in my day (starting with a very serious public access show about the merits of the Dewey Decimal System in the mid-80s). But this marked one of the most exciting announcements I've ever had the privilege to make: the launch of The Alabama Social Media Association:

Amazingly, our group sold out of tickets for our inaugural event minutes after Jeff and I went on the air. (Though we can't take all the credit; fellow board members also appeared on FOX6, and the buzz was a-building.)

What's so exciting is that in about two hours, our new group sold out (the tickets are free but one must have reservations) our first event. It's March 30. Stay tuned -- there will be more, including monthly socials, five other educational programs during the year, and one annual conference.

For now, we want to know: what kinds of programs would you most benefit from? How can we help you? How can we work to make this group inclusive to all? Please share your thoughts!
